The lectures and tutorials will start on Monday, June 26th and will be held in the Banatao Auditorium in Sutardja Dai Hall
Participants arriving for the first week of lectures and tutorials are expected to come to the ICEBREAKER which will be held on Sunday, June 25th outside of the south entrance of McCone Hall from 4 to 5.30 pm to receive name badges and register for CIDER. Please bring a form of identification to the Icebreaker.
If you miss the icebreaker or if you arrive at a later date, Goldie will hand you your name badge individually.
Directions to barbecue site on Tuesday, June 27th, 2017. The bus will pick up participants at 5pm on Hearst Ave right up from Banatao auditorium. For those that want to join by car, here are some directions:
Up Hearst Ave to Gayley- turn right on Gayleyi
At 3 way stop sign turn left up on Stadium Rimway
At stop sign turn left onto Centennial drive
Go all the way up Centennial drive past the Botanical Gardens and Lawrence Hall of Science to the intersection with Grizzly Peak Ave.
Continue across Grizzly Peak onto Golf course road, past the Gold course
Turn right on Shasta road and continue on Wildcat canyon Road
Picnic area will be on the left, after a couple of curves and just past Lake Anza (see map of Tilden)
